Korean Class Part 2

A second post about my Korean class. So every friday of the week, instead of having a regular class, Mr. Jeon and Ms. Oh taught us traditional Korean games. They also had their students come with them, yes Korean teenagers, to teach and help us with the games. On the first friday January 10 they taught us Korean games one of them is gonggi or Korean Jackstone. We all had fun and enjoyed the day while playing with the Korean students. Some of my classmates sang while we were playing. Haha.

Gonggi or Korean Jackstone
This is played like a normal jackstone here in the Philippines except the pebbles is not bouncing and you have to use the pebble as a ball and catch it while getting the others. And there must be only 6 jacks. To know more how to play gonggi click here.

Then on the second friday which was yesterday they taught us how to play Yutnori. To know how to play Yutnori click here

Watch out for part 3 because most of the pictures are there.

Korean Classes Part 1

Remember my post about me having Korean Class. Well it already started and guess what learning it was fun and fast. I didnt know that Korean Alphabet isnt complex as I see it before (maybe because they're teaching the basics yet silly me haha) the free lessons are going to happen in Imus Municipal Hall for 2 weeks. They also gave away textbooks for free. The "Talk to me in Korean" class is offered free by the Government of Imus, Cavite. To apply, you must be a citizen and residing in Imus, Cavite. The teachers are really good in speaking english. Their names are Mr. Jeon Byeong Ho and Ms. Oh Ah Reum of Jeon Gok Middle School. They first taught us of the basics, Korean alphabet, Hanguel and its history. Then practiced us pronouncing and writing it.The class was never boring and serious, they made it really fun and interesting.

For those who want to learn Korean language for free and online you can click here and translate it, the website is easy and user friendly.

My 19th Birthday Celebration

Yesterday, January 4, 2014 was my birthday and we celebrated it by cooking foods and going to SM Bacoor with my sister Jheannie to have fun. We ate a lot and played in Toms world and blowed my birthday candle in my birthday cake. The real celebration of my birthday and my mom, her birthday is January 6, is today, January 5 at Eaglepoint Resort, Batangas. We really have fun swimming in the pool and beach, eating, taking pictures and talking ourselves while on the way to the resort. The place was so beautiful, peaceful and the air is so fresh. And the food that they served was delicious and the rooms are spacious and so cute and elegant. And there are only few people in the resort which gives us the vibe of renting it, the aura was so private and we feel like we own the resort haha. I love Eagle Point Resort. I will definitely go back there.
This is one of the happiest celebration of my birthday and mama! :)

Happy Holidays

Christmas is nearly approaching. Here in the Philippines, Simbang Gabi, a tradition of attending mass in the evening or early in the morning started. Yay! And the wind is cold.. Ohh... Christmas air!! Do you have plans this Christmas share it with me! Haha. Dont know what to do yet this Christmas but I'm definitely going to have fun and get together with family and relative! Anyways I would like you to greet in advance guys, Merry Christmas and oh 5 days to go and its New Year, 2014. But before that, this post is a help or advice to those people who dont know or have no idea what to give to their loved ones this holidays.

To your sister/female relative, friend:

Skin/body Care treatments- chose a trusted brand or the brand that you personally use so the receiver will feel your warm gift with feelings or go with organic products the will love it!  I suggest you go to The Body Shop they offer a wide array of skin and body care products and offer organic products also, and the best part they come in affordable prices or go to bodyshop.com

To your brother/male relative, friend:
T-shirts- when you have no idea what to give to your boy relative or friend, give something that is cool, a tshirt with a cool print. They'll be happy but just get the right size and their perfect. Go to Cotton On shop they offer cool tshirts with affordable price or visit shop.cotton.com

To someone who is older than you (male or female):
Perfume-  give the right perfume to the person you think fits the smell and think also that the perfume must not be too strong.

To your young cousins (children, male or female):
Books- educational books are the best and it will be good if you will read it to them.

Hope this helps!
